Second Chances – Lamaze and Hickstead

Last weekend one of the greatest equine athletes of all time died suddenly while competing at an international event. Hickstead and his rider Eric Lamaze were double Olympic medalists at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Here’s a link to one of the stories about the remarkable team.

Their success on the field is only a small part of what made them so special.
