Human Spirit and the Will to Win

Wow! Awe-inspiring to say the least. The ability of the human spirit to overcome obstacles knows no bounds.

It’s not how many times you get knocked down that counts, but how many times you get up.

There is another very inspiring story, from Munich Olympics in 1972. Lasse Viren falling yet winning gold with a new world record.
“Afterwards I have been thinking: it would’ve been a perfect moment to give up, nobody had wondered why.
    But I didn’t [give up].”
